Learn to surf at Main Beach on the Gold Coast. 

1st WAVE SURF SCHOOL, GOLD COAST is the only licensed Surfing Australia Surf School operating on the Northern Beaches offering beginner learn to surf, surfboard hire and intermediate Surfing Lessons to local residents, tourists and visitors plus corporate, school and social groups.

Our beachfront shop (meeting point) is located at the:

MAIN BEACH PAVILLION (next to the Southport SLSC/KIOSK), Macarthur Parade, Main Beach, Gold Coast, Queensland. 4218 

 Look for the Heritage Listed Main Beach Pavillion on the Northern side of the surf club. It is a 1940's style building. (Not many of these left on the Gold Coast!!)

Our Main Beach location offers surf school shop, free parking, patrolled beach, change rooms, showers, kiosk, shaded parkland with free bbq's plus the Southport Surf Lifesaving Club bistro and bar.

We are approximately 5 minutes north of Surfers Paradise by car or a 1 hour drive South from Brisbane .

We are located at the Northern end of the Gold Coast Beach and the closest and most accessible Surf School for those coming from Brisbane or the northern Gold Coast area. (Main Beach, Southport, Labrador, Runaway Bay, Sanctuary Cove, Hope Island etc)
