Our Main Beach Surf Shop and online boardstore has a range of shortboards, Funboards, Retro Fishes, Mini Mals, Malibus used and secondhand surfboards instore plus we stock accessories including leggies, grips, surf wax, board bags, tie downs, power balance etc.

  1. Mini Mals. Our Mini Mal range covers 7'0ft to 8'0ft, priced around $500. Mini Mals are great shape for recreational surfers to start surfing and progress their skills. If you've had a few lessons this is the board for you.
  2. Pro-Elite Funboards Shaped by Stu Smith on the Gold Coast, a very popular shape for beginner and intermediate surfers, you'll see lots of these boards in the surf. A quality hand made surfboard from a well respected Gold Coast Surfboard shaper. Priced from $480  (www.stuartsurfboards.com.au)

  4. Shortboards We stock a small range of used shortboards. Shortboards are not our specialty however generally we will have some used shortboards instore for between $100 - $250.
  5. Used Surfboards We sell used/secondhand surfboards at our Main Beach Shop. This range is always changing please check the used surfboard page to check out the current stock (we update regularly). We attempt to have surfboards suitable for beginner and intermediate surfers, generally these shapes are hard to find secondhand. i.e. mini mals, malibus, funboards, fishes.
  6. Retro Fishes   The Retro Fish is wide for stability but still highly maneuverable without compromising speed. Designed for small to medium sized surf, best for the intermediate to advanced surfer with at least a couple of years of experience. From $550
